RiskWall ("we", "our", or "us") provides a return management application for merchants using Shopify. We are committed to protecting your personal information and your customers' right to privacy.

1. Information We Collect

When you install RiskWall on your Shopify store, we are automatically able to access certain types of information from your Shopify account:

Shop Information: Your store URL, email address, and plan type.
Order Data: Order numbers, items purchased, and customer shipping details (to facilitate returns).
Customer Data: Names and emails of customers initiating a return.
User Content: Photos uploaded by customers as evidence of damage.
We record security events and configuration changes to protect your store data.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information solely to:

Process return requests generated by your customers.

Send automated email notifications regarding return status.

Prevent return fraud by tracking return history (including blocking high-risk customers).

3. Data Retention & Your Rights

We retain return data (including photos of damaged items) for as long as you have the RiskWall app installed. If you uninstall the app, your data is removed in accordance with Shopify's data retention policies. We comply with GDPR and CCPA requests processed through Shopify's "Privacy Webhooks" (e.g., Right to Erasure).

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your personally identifiable information to outside parties. We share data only with trusted infrastructure providers required to run the service (e.g., SendGrid for emails and PythonAnywhere for hosting), strictly for operational purposes.
